Fire ratings are only required on items that will be used in commercial settings, such as hospitals or schools. Because we do not currently offer a commercial line for Dorel Home furniture, a fire rating is not required. Our manufactured wood products do undergo a flammability test, however, and are compliant with 16 CFR 1500.44, as defined by the Code of Federal Regulations.
